Remember that we always use the word data in its plural form.

For example: We have checked these data and they are reliable.

This exercise focuses on words that go together with data.


There are many types of data. Not all types of data provide reliable information which can help you prove something.

Inconsistent data means data from similar studies that get different results.

Insufficient data are data that are not enough to support the author's position.

Conclusive data are data that prove something.

Reliable data are data that are accurate.
