Exercise 4 - Language in use
This exercise focuses on words that go together with explicit.

Sometimes we try to avoid making explicit statements that are negative, like criticisms and threats. Instead of using explicit statements, we use indirect or implicit statements to get our message across. These statements can help us avoid hurting other people's feelings.

However, statements that are not explicit may not always succeed in getting our message across clearly.
