Exercise 4 - Language in use
The syllable "ex" at the beginning of a word usually means "out of".

Exclude means to keep someone or something out.

Exclude can also mean to decide that something is not an important factor or reason.

Exclusion is a noun.
When someone uses all of his time to do one thing, then he does not do other things. We say that he does this one thing to the exclusion of all other things.

Exclusive is an adjective.
If someone is interested in only one thing, and not in other things, then we say that this one thing is his exclusive interest.
