Exercise 2 - Examples
We can measure something exactly if it has already happened, but we can only estimate or guess about things that will happen in the future.

For example, we can measure the exact amount of rain that fell yesterday, but we must estimate how much will fall tomorrow.

Here are more examples which illustrate the meaning of estimate.
