When authors introduce citations, sometimes they use words that give readers clues about whether or not the authors agree with the person they are citing.
The World is Flat
In 2005, Thomas Friedman wrote a book called "The World is Flat."

The sentences below are examples of ways in which different authors cite Friedman's book.

Sort these sentences into 2 categories:

the author cites Friedman and agrees with him
the author cites Friedman and remains neutral - does not agree or disagree
