Exercise 5 - Language in use
Read this paragraph and answer the question below.
What Does Colorblind Really Mean?

People who are colorblind find it hard to differentiate between some colors - for example, between red and green and between blue and yellow. This difficulty can interfere with many of their daily tasks and in some cases put people who are colorblind in dangerous situations. For example, a colorblind person may not be able to tell the difference between a green light, which indicates ‘go’ and a red light which indicates ‘stop’. Color blindness can also exclude people from certain occupations such as multicolor graphic design.
According to the above paragraph, colorblind people can differentiate between blue and red, but they cannot differentiate between some other colors.
