What Are Formulaic Problems?
Formulaic problems are types of problems that have only one correct answer. If you know which formula to use, you can usually solve these problems quite easily. However, not all problems can be solved by using stepbystep solutions or set formulas. These problems are called nonformulaic problems: They are usually much more complex than formulaic problems, require innovative thinking and can be solved in more than one way.
