Exercise 1 - Understanding meaning
Access can mean the ability to get near to something, or permission to see or use something.

Access can be used as both a noun and a verb. In this exercise it is used as a noun.

For example:

Everyone has access to this website - you don't need a password in order to use this site.

From your hotel, there is easy access to the park - just walk over the bridge and turn left.
