Exercise 2 - Examples
Acknowledged can also mean that many people recognize someone's achievements and expert knowledge.

For example:

We chose Professor Smith to lead our new research project because he is an acknowledged expert in his field. Three years ago he won a Nobel prize.
Towards the end of the 20th century, the people below were acknowledged leaders in their fields.

Sort these names into 2 categories:

acknowledged leaders of the computer industry
acknowledged leaders of the music industry
