adequate
Exercise 5 - Language in use
This exercise focuses on words that go together with adequate.

The word "barely" is often used with adequate - barely adequate means the minimum that is still enough.

Read the paragraph and answer the question below.

Daniel, Robert and Sara were studying to be doctors. When they wrote their final exam, Daniel’s grades were barely adequate to pass the exam, and Robert’s results were less than adequate. Sara’s grades, on the other hand, were more than adequate.
Put Daniel, Robert and Sara in the correct order, according to the level of their grades.

Put the highest achiever in first place.

Drag and drop your answers into the table.
