Exercise 6 - Towards academic reading
Usually researchers do not rely on evidence from only one study. Consistent results mean that different studies produce similar results and allow us to reach more definite conclusions. If different studies that examine the same research question produce mixed or inconsistent results, this means that we cannot draw conclusions until researchers conduct additional studies.
